Dr. Blair Handy is a Board Certified Audiologist of 8 years. She recieved her Doctor of Audiology and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. Currently she practices as a clinical audiologst and professor.
Dr. Handy states that “after having a home birth and not wanting to leave home with our newborn son, my husband and I realized there was a need to provide home care for newborns, especially in the midst of Covid-19 where many, like ourselves, are weary of taking their newborns out in public too often. As a result, we created J&B Newborn Assessments.”
Currently, Dr. Handy offers the state required newborn screening in your home for those within a certain mile-radius. For those outside of this area, the screening can be done in the office at Mama Mia Midwifery.
As a Florida native, Dr. Handy loves the outdoors, walking, jogging, and rollerblading. She enjoys reading, arts and crafts, new experiences, and of course spending time with her amazing family.
